Model Comparison Worksheet
This worksheet applies Phase 3 evaluation to your Architecture Set from Phase 2.
Work through both steps in order. Do not skip ahead.
Step 1 removes obvious misfits quickly.
Step 2 applies the five formal filters to whatever survives.
If you have not completed both the Constraint Inventory and Leverage Zone worksheets,
do that first. This worksheet requires accurate inputs from both.

Before You Begin
Remove performance bias before evaluating anything.
Do not assess models based on:
- income potential or upside appeal
- perceived status or visibility
- what sounds impressive to others
- identity or aspiration
Evaluate only structural survivability.
The question is not "which looks best." The question is "which can I actually sustain."
Step 1: Structural Alignment Matrix
Score each model from 1 to 5 across five dimensions.
Scoring guide:
1 = Direct conflict with constraint or leverage
3 = Viable but requires noticeable compensation
5 = Natural fit with minimal friction
When uncertain between two scores, choose the lower one.
Do not inflate to preserve a candidate.
Elimination rules -- remove any model that:
- Violates a Hard Constraint (automatic elimination, regardless of score)
- Scores below 15 overall
- Scores 2 or below in two or more categories
Model 1: ___________
| Dimension | Score (1--5) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Constraint Integrity | ||
| Weekly Operability | ||
| Risk Exposure | ||
| Leverage Utilization | ||
| Compounding Potential | ||
| Total |
Hard Constraint violation? Yes / No
Result: Proceed to Step 2 / Eliminate
Model 2: ___________
| Dimension | Score (1--5) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Constraint Integrity | ||
| Weekly Operability | ||
| Risk Exposure | ||
| Leverage Utilization | ||
| Compounding Potential | ||
| Total |
Hard Constraint violation? Yes / No
Result: Proceed to Step 2 / Eliminate
Model 3: ___________
| Dimension | Score (1--5) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Constraint Integrity | ||
| Weekly Operability | ||
| Risk Exposure | ||
| Leverage Utilization | ||
| Compounding Potential | ||
| Total |
Hard Constraint violation? Yes / No
Result: Proceed to Step 2 / Eliminate
Add rows for additional models as needed. Maximum input from Phase 2 is seven.
Models advancing to Step 2:
1. 2. 3.
If no models survive Step 1, return to Phase 2 with refined constraint inputs.
Do not force a weak candidate forward.
Step 2: Right Business Filter
Apply the five filters sequentially to each surviving model.
A Hard Constraint violation at any filter eliminates the model immediately.
Do not rescue weak candidates. Do not modify models to save them.
Filter 1: Constraint Integrity
Does the model fully respect all Hard Constraints?
Check: time ceiling, capital ceiling, income timeline, geographic limits,
legal or licensing requirements, energy and health limits.
| Model | Passes? (Yes / No) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Models remaining after Filter 1:
Filter 2: Weekly Operability
Can you operate this model consistently within your current life structure?
Check: weekly time rhythm, predictable task load, context switching demand,
interaction frequency, recovery time required.
If sustainability requires constant willpower, eliminate.
| Model | Passes? (Yes / No) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Models remaining after Filter 2:
Filter 3: Risk Exposure
Does the risk profile match your tolerance and runway?
Check: income volatility, upfront investment, platform dependency,
client concentration risk, time-to-revenue.
High upside does not override misaligned risk tolerance.
If the model creates persistent anxiety, eliminate.
| Model | Passes? (Yes / No) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Models remaining after Filter 3:
Filter 4: Leverage Utilization
Does the model meaningfully use your leverage zones?
Check: skill alignment, experience depth, network access,
domain familiarity, existing assets.
If execution requires building entirely new leverage from zero, reconsider viability.
| Model | Passes? (Yes / No) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Models remaining after Filter 4:
Filter 5: Compounding Potential
Does effort compound over time, or reset each week?
Compare: asset creation vs. hourly dependency, reusable output vs. constant
re-delivery, long-term optionality vs. linear income.
Prefer structures that build durable advantage.
| Model | Passes? (Yes / No) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Models remaining after Filter 5:
Outcome
Models that passed all five filters:
1. 2.
If one model remains, proceed to the One-Page Decision worksheet.
If two remain, use the tie-breaking criteria below before proceeding.
If two structurally strong finalists remain:
Choose the model that:
- Compounds more naturally over time
- Produces measurable signal sooner
- Offers stronger downside protection
- Aligns more closely with your primary leverage zones
If still equivalent, select one deliberately and proceed.
Action produces information. Comparison does not.
If all models are eliminated:
Return to Phase 2 with refined inputs. Do not force a weak candidate through.
